The Bachelor’s Matt Agnew and Chelsie McLeod split two months after finale

The Bachelor's Matt Agnew and Chelsie McLeod split two months after finale

They declared their mutual love in the finale of The Bachelor 2019, which aired in September.

But only two months later, the relationship between Matt Agnew and Chelsie Mcleod went up in smoke.

Taking Saturday on his Instagram account, Dr. Matt announced that the couple took two separate steps.
“In the last six months of the shoot it was a truly unique experience,” he began.

“Chels and I have made some wonderful memories together that I will always love and wish you nothing but the best ever.

“However, I write with this heavy heart. For Chels and for me, our relationship did not translate from shooting to the real world, every day as we had hoped.

“Chels is a very special woman and I want her to find the happiness she deserves.

“For those who might wonder if there is someone else for me right now, there is absolutely no.

“It’s nobody’s fault, it’s just life.”

In the final degree, Matt confessed to having fallen headlong for the chemical engineer Chelsie and gave her a “memory” ring in honor of their time in the show together.

Speaking to Now to Love after the episode aired, Matt and Chelsie revealed how difficult it was to keep their relationship hidden while the show was still on the air.

“[It was damn hard!” Matt said, but admitted that he had an easier ride because he was a Bachelor, rather than a competitor.
“Probably a little easier for me because unless I chose someone, people know that there will be someone I’m writing to, so as long as I had a code name on my phone I could still send messages, I could still send things and people could not really deduce anything “.

Meanwhile, for the blonde beauty Chelsie, she had to remain open-mouthed to know if he left the building with a broken heart or in love.

“People didn’t know whether to console me or be happy for me, they simply don’t know how to behave around you. Are they like ‘I carry handkerchiefs or wine?’ Both of them!” she laughed at that moment.

But the cracks began to show after the shooting was over, when the couple didn’t seem to spend much time together, with Chelsie often showing frustration when his Instagram followers asked where Matt was.

Although both spent much time reading separation rumors, the speculation eventually turned out to be true when they publicly called the time on their relationship.

In the wake of the split, Chelsie has since made a request through her Instagram story, writing “Hey guys, don’t send me any articles if it’s okay. It won’t help.”
