The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thomas and Zoe’s Overnight Passion

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap before Monday, December 30, reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) spoke at the Forrester design studio. Hope informed Steffy that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was on a date with Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) and that it could take all night. Steffy was happy with the development and Hope noted that it seemed that Thomas was actually moving on.

Steffy then went back to the CEO’s office, and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) arrived. She revealed that she had seen Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) about his plan to use Zoe to get information about Thomas Forrester’ intentions for Hope. Brooke remarked that she was on board the plan, but that she still had doubts about Zoe’s reliability. She then found out that Thomas and Zoe were on a date that could last all night.

Steffy and Brooke rewrote the plan and Steffy noted that she just wanted her brother to really get on with Hope. Brooke expressed skepticism with Zoe’s ability to find out the truth when she was blinded by her attraction to Thomas Forrester, and she noted that she might set Zoe up for heartbreak. She then said that Steffy needed to understand that a night with Zoe will not be a confirmation of anything.

Brooke asked Steffy to think about how she would feel if she was in her position and Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington) had gone through what Hope was going through. Steffy understood, and she also asked Brooke to keep an open mind about what Zoe might find. Brooke then reiterated that she thinks Thomas Forrester needs professional help and that she still thinks he’s obsessed with Hope.

Meanwhile, at the Forrester mansion, Zoe and Thomas Forrester continued their romantic date. Zoe wondered where she really stood with Thomas, given that it hadn’t been that long since he really liked Hope. Thomas said he couldn’t say anything to convince her, but that he hoped to show her that he had moved on.

He then told Zoe that he didn’t know why he had to go through all that with Hope, because he deserves to be with someone who likes and appreciates him the way Zoe does. He said that he could see the future in Zoe’s eyes, and that he hoped she could see the future in his. The two then ate together.

At Hope and Liam’s cabin, Hope told Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) that he spent the night, which he liked very much. Liam came home and soon heard that Douglas stayed the night. He was surprised to hear why – that Thomas Forrester was on a date with Zoe and that it might take all night.

He hoped with relief that Thomas Forrester was interested in someone other than her, and Liam was sceptical that it would be interesting to see how the evening went. Hope wondered why Liam wasn’t more excited about this, because it seemed like Thomas was moving on. Hope went on about how Douglas deserves a father who is healthy and stable, and that this might even restore the marriage of Brooke and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).

Liam remained disturbed by the idea that Zoe might have slept with Thomas, but he kept this to Hope, saying only that he hoped Thomas would prove that he is over Hope once and for all. Hope noted that she felt that a new chapter was beginning tonight, and that Thomas was with the woman he should be with.

Back at the Forrester mansion, Zoe thanked Thomas for the delicious dinner and said that this is fairytale princess stuff she read about as a child. Thomas Forrester took her hand and told her that this was just the beginning. He then suggested that they take a walk around the grounds before giving Zoe a passionate kiss. After a few kisses he told Zoe that he wanted to take her upstairs.

Zoe seemed completely engrossed in passion, and the two on the way to the stairs, hand in hand. Once upstairs Thomas Forrester lit some candles and told Zoe they could start something special tonight and there. They then kissed passionately and fell back on the bed.
