Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla Parker Bowles have recently started their 13-day tour of the Caribbean. The future King of England and his wife will stop on ten different islands and participate in 50 separate appointments. Despite their hectic schedule, the people of London needed time to enjoy much-needed time in the sun. On Monday, March 18, 2019, the prince and duchess relaxed on the beach in Barbados. Unfortunately – the couple was caught by the paparazzi.
These beach photos of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles are causing controversy
During a free time on a beach in Barbados, Parker Bowles and Prince Charles were beaten on the beach in their swimwear with beach towels. The paparazzi also took pictures of the Prince of Wales while enjoying a swim in the ocean. Now that the photos have been made public, they are causing a stir.
According to the Press Association, “one source said the photos were taken on a major international tour on a short off-duty moment on behalf of the government, in circumstances where the couple would have a reasonable expectation of privacy during private breaks.” In addition, the prince’s lawyer reportedly sent a letter to various press organizations that “emphasized that he had reasonable expectations of privacy.” Hopefully these photos will not derail the plans of the prince and duchess.
Inside Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles Caribbean royal tour
During their Caribbean royal tour, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will be the first members of the British royal family in over 50 years to visit Cuba. No member of the royal family has set foot on the island since it came under communist rule. The whirlwind royal tour will last from 17-29 March 2019 and will include six different countries and an overseas territory.
The royal couple will stop in St. Lucia, Barbados, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Kitts and Nevis, Grenada, Cuba and the island of Cayman and they will also participate in more than 50 engagements during their tour. They should be back in the UK just in time to see Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcome their first child into the world.
Are Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla Parker Bowles nervous about visiting Cuba?
Prince Charles loves to travel and try new foods, but the Duchess of Cornwall is a roommate and she actually has a pretty bad fear of flying. In 2018, the Duchess withdrew from a journey to accompany Prince Charles to Australia at the last minute. A spokesperson for Clarence House told Express UK, “She decided a few weeks ago to strengthen her plans. We always watched the Duchess coming. There are no health reasons. She is as fit as a flea. The Duchess does not like flying, but I think sometimes she has to embrace that fear and go on with it. “
However, the duchess’s fear of flying is not the only reason why she is nervous about visiting Cuba. Apparently she is also a bit worried about the food. Baroness Hale told Daily Mail: “She did comment that she wasn’t so sure about the food.”
