‘Napping with wild abandon’
The day her husband announced her pregnancy on the radio, Fishel shared a photo of baby shoes with long subtitles about what she has done so far during her pregnancy.
“I eat for two. I love wild desolation. Baby shoes. Baby clothes. (I am shopping). I nest. I am reading books. I am madly in love with my husband. I cry at advertisements. I am crying a walking cliché. I have baby apps. I am sure. I feel inadequate. I show it one day and not next. # BabyKarp2019 ”
Fishel on pregnancy: ‘very lucky’
Fishel told USA Today about her pregnancy and said she has been lucky so far.
“I was very lucky with a smooth and easy pregnancy,” Fishel said. “I didn’t have morning sickness, but it wasn’t without his emotional highs and lows.”
“And you think you are pregnant. But then you have this body that is taken over by something you cannot control. And for many days I weighed myself and saw the number on the scale go up and my logical mind said that that is realistic, you grow a human body, “Fishel added.
“On the other hand, I am used to being in control. And I suppose you are entering motherhood, you have less control over certain things and I will have to get used to it.”
She and Karp have a name where they “love” are already chosen for their son.
