‘Unpolished’: Bria and Matt got engaged in the previous episode, but since then things have taken a different turn for the pair as Matt checked into rehab again.

Matt and Bria’s relationship has gone through ups and downs, but the two finally seemed to be good after asking the big question. Matt surprised Bria with a suggestion that ended with the whole family celebrating. However, Bria’s sister Lexi was not too happy about the relationship when she questioned Matt’s ability to stay sober.

In the previous episode, Bria had admitted that there had been several times when Matt had promised to be sobering, but then eventually returned to his old ways. While Bria was too confident that it would not happen again, she was shocked to see Matt lose track of herself as they celebrated their commitment.

Matt was found unconscious in the washroom and Bria soon realised he had an overdose. It was later revealed that Matt had decided to go back to rehab and fix his deed. While Bria was angry about how events had turned out, she revealed that she had decided to stay engaged to Matt and stand by his side.

Her family, however, was not too happy to see this. The events raised their doubts about Matt and wondered if he was the perfect guy for Bria. In the past, Matt had often cheated on Bria and used her money to buy things for other girls. At the same time he had been in rehab quite often.

Her parents, Jen and Big Mike, were not impressed to see Matt go back to rehab. “Bria tells me she loves him, but they’ve only been together for a year,” Jen says. “It’s happened twice since then, since he fell out of the car or relapsed or whatever you call it.”

Mike also repeated similar thoughts when he said that he loved his daughters too much to see them hurt by someone. Jen thought it was hard for them to accept this relationship because they knew Matt wasn’t in the best place.

“I worry about my daughter and think about it every day,” Mike said. He added that he could no longer do that and if something like that happened every day, they would have a problem. Although the couple decided to support their daughter, they didn’t seem too convinced of the relationship.
