I was convinced that one of the essential elements of washing one’s face was water, if not face washing, but Millie Bobby Brown showed me differently. I also mistakenly thought that one of the main goals of washing your face was to clean it from makeup, but I was wrong there too.
Brown, known as ‘Mills’ to her friends and you, demonstrated an extensive nocturnal routine to promote her Florence By Mills skin care line, complete with spraying, scrubbing, washing and moisturizing. The only problem is that she didn’t seem to use any products that she sells.
“You feel better right away,” she exclaimed after rubbing her dry, productless hands over her face and pantomimating using the face wash of the line. And if you’re wondering about her favorite part of her skin care routine, it’s when she rubs her dry, productless hands over her face once again and mimics the use of a moisturizer. “It needs refreshment, and that’s what Florence does for my skin,” she said, sounding relaxed even if zero drops of Florence appear to have left the bottle.
If you are confused about what’s going on here, you know it is called acting. She didn’t land that role on Stranger Things for nothing, amirite?
