Duchess Kate Middleton and Prince William have done everything to ensure that their children have a normal childhood. As a result, the small royals are only seen a few times a year. In fact, the youngest Cambridge-royal prince Louis has hardly been seen since the day he was born.

When do Prince George and Princess Charlotte attend official royal events?
Unlike their little brother, Prince Louis, who leads his best life away from the cameras, Prince George and Princess Charlotte attend certain royal events on special occasions. The little kings attend things like royal weddings, and their great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday celebration.
Although Prince George attended church at Christmas in 2017, he and Princess Charlotte did not attend a service in 2018. Two shifts within three hours were probably too much for them. This is perfectly normal given that Prince Harry was not seen at his first Christmas service until he was 7.
Do Prince George and Princess Charlotte have royal duties?
Currently, the only royal duties of Prince George and Princess Charlotte go to school and have fun. The princess – who turns four this year, will be attending Thomas Battersea with her big brother in the fall. When the little royal houses go to royal events, their nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo is always ready to save them when things get too boring or too overwhelming.
So far, Prince George and Princess Charlotte have had a number of official royal tours with their parents. As they get older, their duties will increase dramatically. Prince George will be educated on everything he needs to know to become the future king of England and Princess Charlotte is likely to be a full-time royal such as her mother, Kate Middleton, and aunt, Meghan Markle. As pre-teens and then as teens, the prince and princess are expected to attend more and more charity events, engage in walkabouts, and ultimately record the cause.
