The RHONY is nearing the end of its 13th season, with the season finale airing on 31 August. It’s been a dramatic season for the cast, although they are reportedly trying to end the season on a positive note, letting go of much of the tension between them as they bid farewell to another season. But is all really well with the actors? Usually, the Real Housewives of New York City season finale is followed by a reunion to reflect on how the season went on screen and react to fan reactions. But will Real Housewives of New York City season 13 feature a reunion episode?
Will There Be A ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ Season 13 Reunion?
After the end of any Real Housewives season, the cast usually reconvene to reflect on the drama, controversy and lessons learned from the season. But despite the fact that the season 13 finale has already aired, the reunion episode for the new season has yet to be filmed. This is very unusual for the series as the reunion episode is usually filmed before the finale airs. However, at the moment there is no news on if or when the reunion episode will be filmed.
“Everybody’s incentivized to make the reunion happen,” Eboni K. Williams told Entertainment Tonight. “I’m looking very much forward to this reunion. I think my castmates are, too, because a lot of crap went down this season. And it’ll be great, I think, for everybody to be able to express how they feel, how they felt watching it back. I mean, for me as a newbie, I mean, it was a lot.”
However, it seems that if the reunion is filmed, it won’t be about the current season as it usually is – instead, according to Leah McSweeney, it will be about the drama that has happened since filming finished and what needs to be addressed.
Exactly what that drama will be is unclear to us – but when the reunion episode is filmed, we’ll likely get the whole journey then. Hopefully there will be an announcement when we can expect to see the actors reunite, but it’s likely to be a while before the reunion airs.
