90 Day Fiance: Darcey Silva Admitted That She Was Concerned About Stacey Silva’s Relationship With Florian Sukaj

90 Day Fiance star Darcey Silva and her twin sister, Stacey Silva, have always been known for their tumultuous, international love lives. The 45-year-old twins, both divorced mothers from Connecticut, have been dating (and marrying) men from around the world for decades.

But in a new episode of the sisters’ 90 Day Fiance spinoff, Darcey and Stacey, two of Darcy’s longtime friends, Debbie and Rayna, exposed a possible downside to their “twintuition” and overlapping lives: competition.

In fact, Debbie and Reina wondered if Darcey might be trying to boost Stacey Silva’s relationship with her future Albanian husband, Florian Sukaj, by trying to bridge her breakup with Tom Brooks and her new Bulgarian beau, Georgi Rusev.

In a recent episode of Darcey Silva and Stacey Silva, Darcey introduced two of her best friends. Reina, Darcey said, had known the twins since childhood. The 90 Day Fiance star said that Reina was a trusted confidante to both sisters and had even protected them from “bullies” when they were younger.

Meanwhile, Debbie got close to Stacey and Darcey when they were all in their early 20s, so they had been good friends for more than two decades. With Debbie, Darcey laughed, things were always “wild” and “a party.

Reina told TLC producers of her relationship with the Silva twins, “I’ve known the twins since we were about five years old. They were two very different children, and they are two very different adults. So I have a different relationship with each twin, but I’m also this neutral party.

As a somewhat objective observer, Reina said, she could often give advice to both twins instead of favouring one over the other. Like the twins’ father, Mike Silva, Reina said Stacey was a little calmer and more relaxed than her twin sister.

“Stacey is much more grounded in her relationship, and Darcey just loves love,” Reina explained. “Even if love doesn’t love her back, she still loves love.”

Reina and Debbie popped champagne with Darcey Silva in her townhouse in Connecticut before talking about copper nails: discussing the imminent arrival of Florian from Albania. With the approval of his K-1 visa application, Florian would soon move in with Stacey. Within the usual 90 days the couple planned to get married so Florian could stay in the USA.

Darcey’s friends immediately seemed to realize that she was not very enthusiastic about the relationship with her sister. “Are you excited?” they asked.

“Um, I’m excited,” Darcey replied evasively, with a telling pause. She admitted that she didn’t know whether to trust him completely, even though she tried to stay excited for Stacey’s sake.

Debbie and Reina at first looked sceptically at Darcey’s distrust. But after revealing the pictures of Florian with another woman in his homeland, they realized that she might be right to be worried.

“Darcey has a damn good reason to worry about her sister,” Reina admitted after seeing the cozy pictures that Florian had snapped into bed with the mysterious woman.

As for Darcey, she believed that Stacey deliberately overlooked the obvious to stay with Florian. “I’m worried that Florian will break Stacey’s heart,” said the 90-day Fiancé star worried. “He was in a picture with this woman with hardly any clothes on, and she was in lingerie. God knows what happened. But I feel like Stacey is blinded by love.”
