Natalie moved from Ukraine to marry what she presumed to be the love of her life, Mike Youngquist, only to end it six months later.

In the past, Natalie would shut down and give others the cold shoulder, but she seems to have learned this time around. But despite the fact that Josh has two children with two different women, Natalie was very open about the whole situation. In fact, Josh even made her laugh, and she felt comfortable with him right away. As a result, Natalie decided it was worth giving Josh a chance despite some things that might be red flags.
