Leah Messer, a well-known face of MTV’s Teen Mom, has spoken about her recent broken engagement to ex-fiancé Jaylan Mobley. With two failed marriages to her name, Leah’s love life has been nothing short of a whirlwind.
As a teenager, Leah was thrust into the spotlight on 16 & Pregnant, where she was expecting twins with then-boyfriend, Corey Simms. Despite the challenges, the couple married, only to realize it wasn’t meant to be and eventually divorced. A similar fate awaited her next marriage to Jeremy Calvert, ending in yet another divorce. The trials of single parenthood and the added burden of having a child with special needs weighed heavily on Leah.
But Leah Messer’s struggles did not end there; she struggled with substance abuse issues, a journey that was also captured by MTV. Through hard work and perseverance, she managed to turn her life around, eventually meeting Jaylan Mobley and falling in love. In an interview with Us Weekly, Leah shared, “It definitely took a toll and I felt like a failure but I learned a lot. But reflecting on the relationship and even the breakup, I realized it was really a blessing in disguise, and I needed it.”
