Welcome To Plathville: Moriah Has Many Talents

Moriah, the rebellious second oldest daughter on Welcome to Plathville, did a little acting before she played about her family in the TLC series. Her parents probably don’t like their daughter working as an actress – that’s how they seem to feel about everything else Moriah Plath does. Plathville patriarch Barry Plath has said that Moriah Plath “is wired differently,” and she is portrayed on the show as the black sheep of the family. In a heartbreaking clip of the first season of Welcome to Plathville, Moriah admitted, “I wish my mom would think more positively of me, but I try not to let it bother me.”

Moriah Plath is a rebel in the Plathville world, but she would be considered an average teenager in any other family. All Moriah Plath wants to do is go out with boys, drink soda, use a cell phone, wear shorts – pretty mild stuff these days.

But Moriah Plath is not the only rebellious child of Barry and Kim Plath. Welcome to Plathville’s Micah Plath, who pursues a career as a model. Moriah and Micah recently moved (or kicked out) on their own, and have we talked about Barry and Kim’s eldest son, Ethan Plath, and his wife, Olivia Plath, who broke off all contact with them?

Welcome To Plathville: Moriah Has Many Talents

Before becoming a star at TLC’s Welcome to Plathville, Moriah starred in a short feature film, You Should Be There. According to ScreenRant, Moriah Plath played the role of Brittany, a rebellious teenager. Moriah’s role in You Should Be There seems to be a case of art mimicking life.

Moriah Plath was directed in her acting role by the religious filmmaker William Willer. But Moriah’s acting is not her only talent. As fans of the TLC reality series know, Moriah is a talented singer. She was once the lead singer in the Plath family band, which featured in the documentary Family, Unity, Harmony, also directed by Willer in 2016. Since the director of Moriah’s feature film and the Plath’s documentary are the same, Kim and Barry Plath may approve of their daughter acting, as long as it benefits the family.

We are happy that Moriah Plath and her brother Micah Plath live alone on Season 2 of Welcome to Plathville, where they talk about it in a teaser video. We are pretty sure that all Plathville fans are rooting for Moriah and Micah in their new lives and hope that Moriah Plath will find success in whatever career path she chooses.
