Sister Wives patriarch Kody Brown has been in a polygamous relationship with his four brides. However, after all these years, it seems like four marriages are getting quite heavy on the TLC celebrity. In fact, his relationship with his first wife, Meri Brown, is currently in the worst condition as of now.

While his other wives aren’t satisfied with the current situation, they’ve had opinions about the rest of the Sister Wives. Recently, Kody Brown’s second wife, Janelle, opened up about the ‘deep troubles’ between her husband and Meri Brown’s relationship.

In an Us Weekly exclusive, Janelle shares that her husband has been on thin ice in his relationship with his first wife, Meri Brown. However, the tension between them began to impact the entire family, including the rest of the brides and Kody’s 18 children.

Janelle Brown had a “spiritual marriage” to Kody in 1993 and was the second wife in the polygamous relationship. Well, it’s not like the two don’t have issues. The second bride has already opened up about the problems she had with her husband.

However, when it comes to Kody Brown and Meri Brown’s relationship, Janelle had a few things to say. She starts talking about how Kody keeps things very separate and usually doesn’t mention the other wives in front of her. The reality personality says that she knows that Meri and Kody have been fighting for a long time.

Also, it hurts her to see that they are not happy. She adds that their tensions spill over to the whole family. Janelle says that she is always trying to advocate and go to battle for the two of them. Also, it’s a difficult thing, both for them and the rest of the family.

Later, Janelle, who has her own issues with the father of the Brown family, says that when a relationship struggles, the rest of the family struggles as well.

However, the second wife mentions that she doesn’t “completely” know the real issues that Kody and Meri Brown are facing. She goes on to say that “sometimes” they are entitled to their privacy, and doesn’t ask them for details.

Well, for now, the TLC star is rooting for her husband and his first wife and hopes they work things out. Like all sister wives on the show, Janelle Brown doesn’t want to change the dynamics of her family. However, if Kody and Meri ever split up, she thinks things between the other brides will still be very friendly and amiable.
