The latest season of 90 Day Fiance has arrived, and with it new couples are on their K-1 visa trip. One of those couples is Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina.

The couple, who first met through video chat while Brandon’s friends were traveling in Russia and Julia worked as a go-go dancer, soon fell in love. Brandon Gibbs finally proposed during a visit to Julia in Russia, just weeks after he first saw her on video chat.

In the beginning of the first episode, fans get to know the dynamics of Brandon Gibbs’s family pretty quickly. He explains that he and Julia will stay with his parents, and although she hopes that they will get their own place before the end of the 90 days, he is not so sure.

To make things a bit more complicated, Brandon Gibbs’s parents decided that they would rather the two of them didn’t share a room once she arrived.

“My parents want us to stay in separate rooms. I think this is stupid, I’m 27,” he complains. “Why can’t we stay in the same room?”

As they prepare for Julia’s arrival and decorate her room, Brandon Gibbs tells his parents that he hasn’t yet informed Julia Trubkina of their whereabouts. Both his parents agree that he should tell her before she arrives.
