Dancing with the Stars pro dancer Gleb Savchenko has had a difficult year with his wife, Elena Samodanova. Earlier in 2020, Samodanova accused her husband of fourteen years of infidelity and even claimed “a recent inappropriate relationship”, according to the people.

Because Gleb worked with Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause at the dance show, people assumed that Gleb and Stause were having an affair. But all that was undone when Stause opened up to her relationship with her new boyfriend and fellow DWTS pro, Keo Motsepe. While Stause was being cleaned up, Savchenko was spotted on vacation with his new girlfriend, Cassie Scerbo, which explains part of the drama on Savchenko’s side.

However, the plot thickens. For her part, Elena Samodanovawas spotted kissing a new man, another DWTS alum, Vlad Kvartin, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on Dec. 21, 2020, as Page Six reports. Elena Samodanova and Gleb announced their divorce in November 2020 and Samodanova officially filed for divorce on Dec. 22, 2020, according to TMZ.

Elena filed for divorce from Dancing with the Stars pro Gleb in Los Angeles on Dec. 22, 2020, according to TMZ. The couple married in 2006, according to People, and their divorce comes after fourteen years of marriage and two children.

Elena Samodanova filed for divorce only a day after she spotted kissing DWTS alum was Vlad Kvartin in Mexico, as Page Six reported. A Savchenko representative spoke to this, telling people, “It is convenient that Elena, hours after she was caught kissing another man on a beach in Cabo, has now decided to announce that she has filed for divorce.

Unfortunately, their divorce can be a messy one because the year has been so controversial for the former couple. As Page Six reports, Elena Samodanova has accused Gleb Savchenko of several infidelities. Samodanova’s accusations against her former husband were apparently so intense that he hired a lawyer to handle her claims, according to People, who described Samodanova as “consistently slandering [Savchenko] on social media”.
