In a recent People interview, Jillian Harris talked about her time on “The Bachelorette.” She mentioned one regret. She doesn’t regret her relationships or behavior. However, she wished she had embraced something more.
Jillian shared that her only regret from her time on “The Bachelorette” is not taking advantage of the career opportunities that came her way. She explained, “I truly, throughout the experience and afterwards, was so into it for the relationship that I think I missed out on some really cool opportunities.” She was worried about people thinking she was in it for fame or money, which made her turn down several offers.
Balancing Love and Career
Jillian Harris now realizes that it’s possible to pursue both love and career opportunities simultaneously. She stated, “I didn’t want anybody to think that I’m in it for the fame or I’m in it for the money. But now I know you can have a relationship and business opportunities.”
Despite her regret, Jillian is content with her journey. She followed her heart and although her engagement to the contestant she chose ended, she is now happily engaged and a mother of two. She has been engaged to her current partner since 2016 and they are planning a European wedding for the fall of 2025.
Jillian Harris enjoys a quiet life in Canada with her family and focuses on her businesses. She transitioned from reality TV to a career with various projects. These include a subscription box, a cookbook, and online classes on digital marketing.
