It’s been a week since Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo welcomed their son, Finnegan Charles Vuolo. Now, the Counting On alum is sharing more about his arrival.
After days of speculation and baby watch, Jinger confirmed that she was induced on March 28—her exact due date—and gave birth the following day. In a new Instagram Q&A, she told fans that everything went smoothly. “God is so kind,” she wrote, alongside a glowing post-birth selfie.
Finn weighed just over eight pounds, and the family was discharged from the hospital the next day. Michelle Duggar flew to California to support her daughter. She is still there, helping Jinger recover and cope with sleepless nights.
Jeremy’s parents also visited shortly after Finn’s birth but have since returned home.
Counting On: Will Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo Have More Children?
Jinger and Jeremy are now parents of three, but fans are already asking: will they have more?
The couple has made it clear in the past that they don’t plan to follow in the Duggar tradition of having a massive family. Since their 2016 wedding, they’ve welcomed a baby every few years—Felicity in 2018, Evangeline in 2020, and now Finn in 2024.
Jinger hasn’t said if they’re finished growing their family. With a newborn at home, she knows it will take time to adjust to life with three kids. For now, their focus is on cherishing the early days with Finn.
And with Jessa Duggar expecting baby #6 and Hannah Wissmann Duggar due with baby #3 any day now, the Duggar grandbaby count is rising fast. Rumors are even swirling that Jana Duggar may be pregnant, but nothing has been confirmed.

Counting On: Jinger Slams “Cruel” Rumors About Daughter’s Health: “Every Life Is Precious”
In the same Q&A, Jinger talked about a fan theory that’s been around for years. This rumor suggests she hides her daughters’ faces because one may have a disability.
She responded directly to the accusation: “We have been blessed with 3 healthy children,” she wrote. “But even if God had chosen to give us a child with a medical condition, that would in NO WAY change the way we share them on socials.”
The fan’s original question read, “Show us your girls. Is one disabled in some way?”-prompting Jinger to speak out for the first time.
“This is actually why we don’t show our children’s faces—to give them privacy,” she explained. “We don’t want to subject our kids to how cruel some people can be in their judgments. It’s honestly just sad to see these comments come in.”
Counting On: Why Jinger Is Determined to Give Her Kids a Private Childhood
After years growing up on camera in front of millions, Jinger is determined to raise her own children differently.
She starred on 14 Children and Pregnant Again, 19 Kids and Counting, and later Counting On. From the age of 10, her life was documented for public consumption—something she now admits came with its challenges.
That’s why, after briefly showing their daughters’ faces as infants, Jinger and Jeremy chose to blur them out in photos and videos. They want their kids to live normal lives, away from the pressures of fame.
Still, they made an exception when Finn was born—posting a photo of his face in his birth announcement. The same was done when Evangeline was born, but not since.
“Every life is a gift from God,” Jinger added in her post, making it clear that their decision is about protection, not shame.
