‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians,’ Played Up Drama Between Kourtney And Kim

When Kourtney Kardashian announced that she would withdraw from Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the fans were shocked, if not necessarily surprised.

After all, the announcement came after months of public feud between her and her sister Kim Kardashian over whether or not Kourtney was doing her part in the show. On top of that, Kourtney Kardashian’s appearance on the show was part of a tense triangle between her, former suitor Scott Disick, and his then-girlfriend Sofia Richie.

The pressures added up, and it made sense that she wanted some time out of the spotlight to focus on her life. However, fans are now pretty sure the whole thing was fake, just another ruse to lure viewers into the show.

Anyone watching the 17th season of KUWTK could see that there were problems between Kourtney and Kim Kardashian. The show had often focused on discussions between the two, and much of the debate was whether or not Kourtney was doing her part when it came to creating the show.

The point of a reality TV show is that fans can see behind the scenes of the family, but Kourtney Kardashian insisted on having more and more privacy for her family.

In particular, Kourtney was concerned about her children and the impact that being caught on camera could have on them as they were getting old enough to feel the full impact. Kim, meanwhile, pointed out that when Kourtney backed out and kept her family moments out of the spotlight, it meant there was more room for the other sisters – especially Khloé and Kim, since Jenner’s younger sisters have different contracts – to film.

In order for the show to have enough content to air, each of the stars must take a look at their lives. The tension between these competing demands has become thick enough to see.

KUWTK: Fans Think Kourtney Is Still On The Show

Despite the dramatic announcement of her departure, fans are not convinced that Kourtney Kardashian is actually leaving the show. In a Reddit thread talking about Kardashian’s cover for Vogue Arabia, the subject of her disappearance or not from the reality TV series came up.

In the cover story, Kardashian apparently expressed that she is “free” from the “toxic” TV show. When one fan asked her if she had really resigned, another fan said, “No, she’s in the promo for the rest of the season. I don’t know why she’s taking this two-week break she took a year ago”.

Some expressed their disappointment that she would stick around: “She’s so passive-aggressive and rude to everyone in her family. I’ll be more inclined to watch the show if she leaves”. I really like everyone else on the show.” Others agreed and pointed out that if the environment was toxic, it was because Kardashian helped make it so: “she played a huge role in the toxic environment.
