Welcome to Plathville: Why Hosanna Plath Isn’t on the Show

Lydia Plath took to her YouTube channel in March 2023 to address fans’ curiosity about Hosanna’s absence. According to Lydia, Hosanna and her husband, Timothy Noble, chose early on to keep their lives private.

“They wanted to live their lives privately, and I’m really proud of them for making that decision,” Lydia said. “I think it was very healthy for the two of them to just build their marriage.”

Hosanna and Timothy’s Relationship with the Family

Just because Hosanna and Timothy don’t appear on the show doesn’t mean they’re estranged from the family. Lydia assured fans that they remain very close.

“We talk all the time. We see each other whenever our schedules allow, just not publicly,” she said.

Lydia Plath also emphasized that while it might seem like she never sees her sister, there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes. Visiting Hosanna is one of those things not shown on the show or posted on social media.

As for the future of ‘Welcome to Plathville,’ Lydia kept fans on their toes. When asked about a potential Season 5, she simply replied with a laugh, “Stay tuned. Stay tuned, folks.”

If the show does return for another season, we can expect to see more of the recent drama surrounding the Plath family. Season 4 saw the separation and subsequent divorce of Lydia’s parents, Barry and Kim Plath. Additionally, Kim faced legal troubles following a DUI arrest in October 2022.

Despite the turbulence, Lydia shared that her mom is doing well. “She sees the girls often,” Lydia said, referring to her younger sisters Amber, Cassia, and Mercy. “I get to see her now and then when our schedules allow … she is doing really good.”
