Meri believes Kody’s behavior was deliberate, claiming he pushed her out to avoid looking like the “bad guy” who ended the marriage. “If he can push me out and I leave, he’s not the bad guy because he didn’t walk away,” she revealed, hinting at a midlife crisis.

A friend of Meri’s suggests that Kody’s erratic behavior may indeed be connected to his own inner turmoil.
