“I don’t know. I think that she did want me to stay. I feel like she was sad. I feel like she had this idea when she came into the family of, you know, this big plural family,” Meri said, considering Robyn’s role in the dissolution of the family. Despite Robyn’s public pleas for Meri to stay in Season 18, Meri knows Kody’s feelings were less clear. He often cited the infamous “Catfish” incident as the turning point in their relationship. While she’s not actively seeking out a relationship with them, Meri hasn’t entirely cut them out of her life either.
Meri also mentioned the emotional manipulation she felt from Robyn during their time together. According to Meri, Robyn Brown often used her tears as a way to control situations, especially when things didn’t go her way. “There was a lot of confusion,” Meri admitted, describing the mixed messages she received from both Kody and Robyn throughout the years.
