Tamra Judge, of Real Housewives of Orange County, has ended the rumors. There is no hope of reconciling with her former best friend, Shannon Beador. The two RHOC veterans have a tumultuous history. It includes a close friendship, bitter feuds, and everything in between. But as Season 18 wrapped up, it became clear that their bond may be broken beyond repair.
On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Tamra didn’t mince words when asked about mending fences with Shannon. “No,” she said firmly, putting an end to any speculation that the two might reconcile. “She’s trying to trash my name and rewrite history. All I’ve ever done is try to help her. It was always a one-sided friendship,” Tamra added, making it clear that she’s done with the drama.
A Friendship That’s Run Its Course
Tamra’s comments on WWHL come after a season filled with tension between her and Shannon. Their rocky relationship nosedived after Shannon’s DUI hit-and-run arrest in September 2023. Tamra said she was by Shannon’s side every day after the incident. She tried to ensure Shannon got the help she needed. However, despite her efforts, Tamra feels that Shannon hasn’t taken accountability for her actions.
“The other half of the story is that, after her DUI, I was by her side every single day, talking to her every single day, trying to make sure she got the help that she needed. She didn’t get the help she needed,” Tamra explained, expressing her frustration with Shannon’s lack of responsibility.
Tamra Judge also criticized Shannon Beador’s behavior. She pointed out the hypocrisy in how Shannon handled her own DUI compared to co-star Gina Kirschenheiter’s similar incident. “I just know, me, personally, if I ran my car into a house three times the legal limit and then acted like I was walking my dog looking like a zombie, I probably would never drink again,” Tamra stated, reflecting on how she would have handled the situation differently.

Shannon Beador Responds: “We Don’t Need to Be Friends”
For her part, Shannon Beador doesn’t seem eager to reconcile with Tamra Judge either. She acknowledged that their friendship has always been fraught with issues, and she’s come to terms with the fact that they may never be close again. “I don’t [think we’ll be friends again] because I now can look back and see pretty much every season that I’ve been in with Tamra, there’s always an issue that she has with me,” Shannon said, pointing out the recurring problems in their relationship.
Shannon also addressed Tamra’s claim that she had to walk on eggshells around her, saying, “I’m sorry that you feel that way, but I walked on eggshells around her.” It’s clear that both women feel hurt and betrayed by each other, making a reconciliation unlikely.

Fans Weigh In: Who’s Really to Blame?
The fallout between Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador has left RHOC fans divided. While some sympathize with Tamra’s position, others believe that Shannon’s side of the story hasn’t been fully told. A viewer poll conducted during WWHL showed that fans are more supportive of Shannon, which didn’t sit well with Tamra. “They only have half the story,” she remarked, hinting at even more drama that hasn’t been revealed.
Despite the tension, it seems both women are ready to move on with their lives, albeit separately. Tamra is now focused on new ventures. These include her appearance on The Traitors and her podcast, Two Ts in a Pod. Shannon is dealing with the fallout from her DUI. So, it’s clear that this once-close friendship has ended.
