90 Day Fiancé: Angela Deem Thinking About Divorce

Fans of 90 Day Fiance will know Angela and Michael Ilesanmi, a couple who captivated viewers with their 22-year age gap and rocky romance. Angela Deem forced her Nigerian husband to give up his simple life and join her in the United States, and the couple also argued over whether she would be able to carry a child at 54. The couple silenced the haters when they married in a ceremony in Nigeria, with Angela even wearing traditional clothes.

Since the cameras stopped filming, Angela Deem has made headlines for her weight loss. According to Us Weekly, she underwent liposuction, gastric bypass surgery and breast reduction in August 2020.

Angela Deem opted for the weight loss surgery after she was having a hard time breathing at the grocery store, she explained to the magazine. But Michael Ilesanmi did not support his wife’s new look. Allegedly, things are going from bad to worse for the couple, and not just because of Angela’s weight loss.

90 Day Fiancé: Angela Deem Thinking About Divorce

Angela may be divorcing her husband Michael, according to Screen Rant. Divorce rumours surfaced when the 55-year-old liked an Instagram post from fan account @90dayfiancenow: “Angela releases official statement on DIVORCING Michael”. Although the post was clickbait to push followers to the links, it still caught the attention of fans. After all, fans are familiar with Deem referring to her husband as her “Prince of Nigeria” in the broadcast.

The Instagram account linked to an interview in which Angela Deem talked about her relationship but did not confirm that she is separating from her husband. However, the grandmother’s likeable Instagram post has got fans wondering about the couple’s future.

When asked on April 19 if she had ever thought about divorce, Angela told ET Online. “I was definitely talking to the lawyer. I said, ‘I’m not gonna put up with this. If I put up with this with him all the way over there, what’s it gonna be like here.”

To complicate matters further, Michael Ilesan still doesn’t have permission to officially join Angela in the US. Angela Deem and Michael Ilesan may be deep in the divorce process, but fans won’t find out the status of their relationship until “90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?” “Happily Ever After” finishes filming.
