Hannah Ferrier from Below Deck Mediterranean went to Instagram Live after the episode where it was revealed that she had valium and a CBD pen with her on the boat.
She felt betrayed by the boatswain Malia White, who sent a photo of the valium and Ferrier’s pen to Captain Sandy Yawn. Hannah ended up in Yawn’s office at the end of the episode while Yawn was asking her about the drugs. “I didn’t realize Malia and I were in such a bad place that she would do something like this,” Hannah said. “This is very sneaky, very sneaky.”
Hannah Ferrier thought she and Malia White were in a good place, so she was shocked that White would go so far.” “I was really disappointed because I felt like Malia and I had been getting along well all season,” said Ferrier. Adding, “I feel like we’ve been respectful of each other. I didn’t realise that our relationship was in such a bad situation”.

White was with Ferrier when she had a panic attack on the boat. At that moment, Ferrier said she needed a valium. However, White did not share this information with Captain Sandy Yawn until she went to war with Hannah over the cabin accommodation. Once Malia’s boyfriend joined the crew as a new chef, she insisted that Hannah , who was her roommate with Christine “Bugsy” Drake so she could share a cabin with her boyfriend.
Hannah and Drake felt that, after having had a fight in the previous season, sharing a room together was not a great idea. However, since the position of chef is superior to that of head stew, Captain Sandy Yawn allowed the passage. Ferrier calmly embraced the change. “If I said my opinion or my idea of not wanting to share the cabin with Bugs [is] because I didn’t want to throw out the kind of work dynamic,” he said.
It’s so uncomfortable if you don’t get along with someone and work with them and share the booth with them, it’s so, so embarrassing”. So I didn’t want to put us in that position. That’s why I really thought it was better for the whole boat that we didn’t share a cabin.

“I think if you were doing it for your job, you might have done it like the day after I had my panic attack,” said Ferrier. “Not right after we had an argument. It wasn’t very nice. I was really disappointed. And of course, it was quite difficult, like at the beginning of the season, because, you know, everyone was so excited about the idea of having three women in power and female empowerment. And, you know, I just felt like I was overwhelmed.”
Hannah shared the photo that Malia sent Captain Sandy Yawn. “I like Malia’s ability to organize things. So this is prescribed Valium, CBD (which is legal in Spain), a lighter (I don’t know what that has to do with anything) and my passport holder… And for anyone interested the prescription is on the other side of the box, as shown,” she tweeted.
Ferrier added that she didn’t think Drake had any part in organizing it. “You know what – I don’t think so. I’d be honest, but I really don’t think Bugs was involved,” she answered a question about Drake’s involvement.
Hannah had drugs on board, no prescriptions, and that is illegal in Maritime law. Her behavior all season has been an “I don’t care attitude” whether or not she was on any of those drugs at any or all times. She has said in this season and in several previous seasons she hates her job. So why did she come back?
Plus, if she is Pregnant, why is she taking drugs??? Irresponsible to be taking drugs while pregnant.
She has created all of her own drama by herself. I have NO sympathy for her. You get what you sow. Good riddance.
Oh, and she caused Chef Kiko’s dismissal!!! She knew better and set him up.
She should have been fired years ago. She’s not professional material at all, blames everyone else and literally lies through her teeth.
