Hannah Ferrier of Below Deck Mediterranean said she was taking Advil for swollen feet, but Ferrier’s boatswain and bunk mate, Malia White says she was taking Valium instead.
Malia appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen after one of the most dramatic episodes this season. After arguing with Hannah about getting a room when her boyfriend is named the yacht’s new chef, Malia is seen taking a picture of Ferrier’s prescribed valium. White then shared the photo with Captain Sandy Yawn.
The episode ended with Yawn confronting Hannah about the drug. Malia defended her position on WWHL. “I think that’s when she asked for Valium, I think that’s when I realized those were the pills she was taking every night all season,” White said. “That’s when it became very serious for me.”

Hannah Ferrier shared in an Instagram Live that she thought White’s actions were both “snakey” and “underhanded”.
“I was really disappointed because I felt like Malia and I got along well all season,” said Ferrier. Adding, “I feel like we were respectful to each other. I really didn’t realize that Malia and I were in such a bad place that she would do that. It’s just very winding, very sneaky.”
Former lower deck boatswain João Franco agrees that it is the duty of the crew member to report substances to the captain. But he shared in an Instagram Live that he would first talk to the crew member. “So my obligation to maintain safety is to approach the person to say, listen, I know about this,” he said. “Does the captain know about this? Yeah, the captain knows about it, and okay, no problem. Would you mind if we just discuss it together? Cause I feel like it’s affecting your ability to work.”
I think Malia was being malicious and getting back at Hannah for the room situation. You don’t go into anyones petsonal belongings. That was totally thought out and on purpose. I tbink Sandy plays favorites and I betcha Bugsy ends up as chief stew now and in the future. She seems to like young cute girls.
Malia did this as a bratty ill girl. Hannah is not my favorite. However she wanted her way to room with her BF.She got her way but it took awhile , it was a bit of a fight. She had no regard for Bugs &Hannah’s feelings. The drug thing, don’t think it’s a thing. Malia is a back stabber.
Malia What a brat. I hope you are never plagued with anxiety. It’s an awful feeling. Your condescending and judgemental attitude is unforgivable. Crawl out of Captain Sandy’s butt. I’m not saying Hannah should not have told Sandy herself. The way you handled the situation was childish . Have some empathy. I feel it was a vindictive act over a cabin.
Malia was a really nasty bitch if you ask me. Backstabber and under handed malicious cause she didn’t get her way. Captain Sandy is showing her lack of good judgement with this one. Tom will let her down to, and egg on her face will look natural.
It was horrible the way Malia handled Hannas script but worse than that Malia turned out to be a psychotic BULLY when dealing with the sleeping arrangements.
I’ve seen that crazy/unbalanced look in the eyes when dealing with bullies .
There’s a certain look in the eyes that physical and mental abusers get when they are in a rant.
She needs to get help and get it quickly

I think it was a setup. Malia wanted to get rid of Hanna from the start. She got her friend on the boat, then her fiancee. Hannah I think you didn’t have a chance between Sandy and Malia. Good luck.

Hannah didn’t want to room with Bugsy because Hannah is Very Jealous of Bugsy. Bugsy shows Hannah up at every turn. Not because Bugsey is Trying to, but Because Bugsy is Better at Chief Stew or Any stew than Hannah.
Hannah has said for several seasons that she hates her job. While Bugsy loves her job and it shows. Hannah held everyone hostage with her toxic poison. Now the toxic poison is gone.
Hannah should Not be on drugs while Pregnant. What is the matter with her?? That is SO Irresponsible. Valium and pot!! Her baby will be born a drug addict!!
