Since Hannah Ferrier was fired for having Valium and a CBD pen on The Wellington, fans have compared it to Below Deck Season 3 stew Kat Held, who also had terrifying drugs on the yacht.

There is a significant difference between the two scenarios. Captain Sandy Yawn set Hannah Ferrier on fire, citing maritime law and trust issues. Captain Lee did not fire Kat.

“With Kat, it was pretty simple. She said she was prescribed the medication, and I said, “Show me the prescription, that’s what I want to see,” Captain Lee said. “If it is legally prescribed medication by a qualified doctor, we are not doctors as captain. God forbid we have to deny someone his medicine and something bad happens. It would get really ugly.

Andy pointed out that if Hannah Ferrier had shown Captain Sandy a prescription, it might have been a different situation. Captain Lee didn’t react, but shook his head a little in agreement.
