Christina on the Coast: Christina Anstead's surprise wedding had a rustic feel

In case you missed it, Flip of Flop’s Christina Anstead married Wheelers Dealers host Ant Christina in December 2018, but we’re still not quite over her gorgeous wedding dress.

The lace dress, designed by Ines di Santo, featured a mermaid silhouette and lace-decorated detachable illusion sleeves that fit like a glove into the blonde bomb.

Prior to the event, Christina told people, “I knew I wanted it romantic.” Fully adapted to the dress of her dreams, she explained: “We added sleeves to a dress that didn’t have sleeves, and we made them removable so I could walk down the aisle with this long-sle, lace dress and then take them off for the party.”

She was looking for something classic and would add an element of surprise for her current husband as she walked down the aisle. Her only obligation? That it would “make her feel beautiful.”

Anstead completed her bridal look with natural makeup and hair, along with a lace veil that matched the theme of the surprise wedding. “We wanted it to be a rustic romance,” Christina Anstead told people. “It was just perfect for us. Everything we wanted.”

The event was held at the couple’s home in Newport Beach, California, and was family friendly and full of love. “We wanted to talk about the kids,” she continued. “There are six of us. We’re a mixed family, so it was really important for them to be a part of it.”

“12.22.18 such a wonderful, emotional, incredible day for us and our 4 children,” wrote Christina about the big day on her Instagram shortly after she tied the knot. “Getting married in our home under the full moon couldn’t have been more magical. Love your @ant_anstead and our mixed family… love doing this life with you.”
