Counting On: Jessa Still Wants To Expand Her Family

Last week there were rumors that the star of Counting On, Jessa Duggar, was pregnant with her husband’s fourth child, Ben Seewald. After her father, Jim Bob, joked that the birthday cake for Duggar’s daughter was such a revealing cake, the Internet was delirious with speculation about the veracity of his observation.

Over the weekend, after Jessa Duggar posted a photo of her son’s haircut, a fan asked, “Will you announce your fourth pregnancy soon? I noticed the bump.” To which the 27-year-old mother of three promptly replied: “There is no baby behind the belly – only tacos”. Thank you for asking.” Us Weekly

Although the comment generated more than 5,000 “likes” (via In Touch), Duggar’s attention seems to remain focused on the three little ones he already has: Spurgeon, four, Henry, three and Ivy, 14 months. Despite her father’s comment and a recent photo she posted of herself in a loose dress, pushing her daughter into a swing, fans have been too quick to assume Duggar’s pregnancy.

After 5 summers of horrible mosquitos, we finally signed up to have a fogger come spray every 2-3 weeks. We’d applied bug spray, used mosquito dunks in every water puddle, even did the diy mosquito spray treatments that you attach to your garden hose, but they were so bad it made our backyard practically unusable. While the Counting On star and her husband are not on hold at the moment, they have expressed a desire to raise their family. The two are considering adopting baby number four, according to Us Weekly.

“We could wait until all our children are grown up and gone and then adopt, but I also think it’s a good thing to have an adopted child growing up with the other children,” Seewald said. “We’re just in a phase of meeting people who have adopted and receiving advice, listening to their stories and seeing what it could be like for us.

Duggar and Seewald continued to share the paths they are exploring to adopt in the future, including locally or internationally. Duggar also explained that the couple want to adopt from before their marriage in 2014. “We are not sure if our next child will be adopted or not, but it is something that weighs heavily on our hearts since before we got married,” she said. In the meantime, however, they have three children under the age of four to keep them very busy.
