RHONY: What is ‘The Big Shot’ about?

Bethenny Frankel left The Real Housewives of New York City last year to focus on her production contract with Mark Burnett. After months of development, the former housewife confirmed that she is working on a reality show called The Big Shot. Casting has now opened for the competition series that plans to have a home on the HBO Max streaming platform.

RHONY: What is ‘The Big Shot’ about?

Bethenny Frankel is producing and starring in The Big Shot a series of contests that will see competitors vying for a place in the business world. The reality show will consist of eight 30-minute episodes that will try to become part of Frankel’s executive team.

“Apart from motherhood, what really defines me as a person is being a motivated, passionate and hardworking woman, determined to make the impossible possible,” the founder of the Skinnygirl company said in a statement.

Bethenny will use her experience as a business tycoon to lead the competition and become a mentor for all of them.

My mantra is to come from a place of ‘yes’ and find and create the solution. I am an executor of visions, and I share and communicate this information to those who work with me. MGM has been on my tail with ideas and their execution. I couldn’t be more excited to continue my long-standing relationship with Mark Burnett on this series and pay for this American Dream story forward,” she added.

‘The Big Shot’ Applications Open Up

Although all television production has stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic, The Big Shot is proceeding with accepting applications to find its competitors. Frankel recently shared information on her social media and initially hesitated to publish.

“I hesitated to post about this nomination process, given the terrible crisis our nation is facing,” Frankel wrote on Instagram. “I realized that at some point, at some point, we will have to return to a new normalcy, rebuild our lives and restore our faith in our society.
