Meri Brown turned 50 a few days ago and she is ready to embrace whatever comes her way. Her life in the reality TV spotlight has not been easy, but she is ready to take on any challenges that come her way.

For her birthday, Meri celebrated herself and talked about moving forward and moving on with life as she knows it. She focused on the future and the past and revealed that it all happened and shaped who she is today.

Turning 50 is a huge milestone. Meri celebrated her big day on January 16, just a few days ago, and shared a heartfelt Instagram post with her followers.

It hasn’t always been easy for Meri Brown, especially since she is a star on Sister Wives. Many of her failures and successes have occurred on reality TV. From her thriving LuLaRoe business to her catfishing scandal, her life has been mapped out and criticized by fans and followers.

As she moves into the next chapter (and decade) of her life, Meri wrote, in part, “This is 50. This is 50 years of life, of hope, of love, of experience. It is 50 years of ups and downs, great days, sad moments, amazing adventures, disappointing setbacks. Each of these experiences has shaped me to be who I am today.”

Of course, there are also plenty of things to look forward to, including some challenges she expects to sneak up on. The Sister Wives star addressed that as well in her lengthy Instagram post, saying, “I’m open to all the possibilities and looking forward to all the accomplishments. I’m strengthening myself for the challenges that I know will come, because they will come. I’m not shying away from them. I’m not backing down from a challenge. I throw myself into my fifties with determination, with grace, and most of all with love.”
