This is probably not the first half-truth Mahogany Roca has told his boyfriend Ben Rathbun. Ben has repeatedly said that he has never spoken to his girlfriend via video call because she has always claimed that he is a camera chemist.

This led fans to believe that Mahogany Roca wasn’t for real and probably wanted to kidnap Ben Rathbun. Not only had Ben been a victim of cat fraud before, but Mahogany had collected $1,000 from Ben even when he hadn’t seen his face (apart from the very filtered pictures he sent him).

As a result, it was hard for fans to believe that Mahogany Roca was for real. The Peruvian also lied to Ben Rathbun about his age and where he lived. However, Mahogany Roca has come out to tell his side of the story. He spoke out via Instagram. In his story, he posted a picture of himself with a caption: “Hello! I have a lot I want to tell.”
