Mike Berk traveled to meet his long-distance girlfriend, Ximena Pineda, for the first time in her hometown of Pereira, Colombia. Arriving there, he met her, his two children, and his entire family. On the last day of his trip, he asked her to marry him despite the red flags in the relationship.
After his departure, Ximena Pineda started acting differently. Fans saw him return to Colombia in the show’s February 20 episode. Arriving there, Ximena Pineda was upset about his visit and had to cancel her breast augmentation surgery. It was at that point that the American realized that his girlfriend no longer considered him a priority.

Last week, a fan spotted Mike and a mystery woman dining at a restaurant, The Copper Still. A photo of the duo dining was shared by the restaurant. The photo shows Mike sitting at a table across from the mystery woman indicating a breakup with Ximena Pineda. Other people pointed out that the mystery woman was actually someone who had already appeared on 90 Day Fiancé. The woman is his best friend, John’s wife Nelcy, who appeared in episode 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 5.
Viewers remember seeing Nelcy and John help Mike Berk buy toys for Ximena’s children before his first trip to Colombia. Mike and John’s friendship has been going on for ten years. John was concerned that Mike was being scammed by his girlfriend online.
