Michael Jessen and Juliana Custodio raised a lot of eyebrows in season 7 of 90 Day Fiance – and it had nothing to do with their age difference. Michael and his ex-wife Sarah seemed to be close, and when Juliana came into the picture, both women were also on good terms, which is usually a rarity for the series.
However, Juliana Custodio’s journey to the US was not the smoothest, as her visa was reportedly rejected twice due to “illicit intentions”, Screenrant reports. Fans remember when the couple went to a mediator to discuss marriage, but the meeting didn’t go so well. Juliana ended up in tears as she said: “Men don’t control me”. The pre-nup seemed to be a minor concern as TLC cameras captured their wedding officiated by Sarah. That’s one way to keep it in the family, right?

One look at Michael and Juliana’s Instagram accounts is proof enough that they are indeed still together – and very much in love.
The couple recently celebrated their son Max’s high school graduation with his ex-wife Sarah and her new husband. In May, Juliana travelled back to Brazil after two years away from her family, but Michael Jessen made sure to put up a montage of photos to emphasise how much he misses his wife.
Juliana Custodio seemed to fit in well with the Connecticut family life, as she helped with the preparation of the Easter feast, and it is clear that her passion for food fitted in perfectly with Michael’s wine career. They celebrated their first wedding anniversary in October 2020, and the man posted a heartfelt message on Instagram. “You are my love, my guiding light and my dearest friend in life. It’s been an amazing journey with you and this is just the beginning.”
As for Juliana, she seems to live forever in the clouds. She’s still close to Sarah and they seem to enjoy family game nights together.
