Khloe Kardashian, one of the iconic faces of Hulu’s The Kardashians, recently took to Instagram to reveal a Halloween gift that had a quirky twist. Sent by her sister Kourtney Kardashian and her rockstar husband Travis Barker, this was no ordinary offering but a creatively haunted gingerbread house!
Crafted by the experts at The Solvang Bakery, the delicious treat was a celebration of spooks and sweets. Ghosts floated on fondant, pumpkins smiled in sugar, and candy corn garnished the miniature lawn. Khloe couldn’t hide her excitement as she showcased the house on her Instagram Story, declaring it a treat from the “King and Queen of Halloween.”
But what really stole the scene was Khloe’s cat, affectionately named “Grey Kitty,” who decided to make an appearance in the story as well. “Grey Kitty is here too,” Khloe remarked, letting her followers know that the feline member of the family was equally thrilled.
The Kardashians: Where Kourtney and Travis Missed the Mark
Despite her general delight, Khloe pointed out a slight misstep in this sugary masterpiece. As the camera panned over the house, it focused on a particular detail—family names written on the roof of the gingerbread abode. Among those names were her children, True and Tatum, as well as her own name. And then, the camera rested on the name “Grey.”
“Her name is Grey Kitty, not just Grey,” Khloe chuckled, forgiving the oversight as she continued her virtual tour. This adorable faux pas caught the attention of her audience, leading to media coverage, including an article in The Sun.
This is not the first time that Khloe has been open about family matters on social media. Earlier in the year, Khloe went through a high-profile breakup with Tristan Thompson, the father of her children. Thompson took “full responsibility” for his actions, as mentioned in an Instagram apology covered by People Magazine. Despite their separation, Khloe continues to co-parent amicably with Thompson, often shedding light on their family life through her social channels.
