Married at First Sight: Michael and Meka Jones

I don’t even know where to start with this guy. As soon as he got another room, took off his ring and said he did it because he felt like he “failed as a husband,” I lost all respect for him. What a load of BS.

He clearly gave Meka Jones an ultimatum on the honeymoon about having sex and when it didn’t happen, he decided to do something he knew would hurt her. What an asshole. Their whole honeymoon was ruined.

Clearly this guy has intimacy issues that stem from the fact that he was adopted and doesn’t feel love or affection in his childhood. Maybe if he was able to communicate those things with Meka from the jump, they wouldn’t have had so many problems in the beginning. Now he’s just doing what he has to do (in front of the camera) to try to get rid of his bad behavior. So last night’s crying incident.

I believe everything Meka Jones said about his behaviour outside the camera and I think he’s definitely trying to portray himself as something he’s not when the cameras are rolling.

I really don’t like him. He bores me to tears too. I understand and respect that he’s passionate about his work, but almost every time poor Meka tries to have a conversation with him, it always seems to turn around to his work. Yadda, yadda, yadda, blah, blah. Doesn’t he have anything else to talk about? Friends? Family? Hobbies? Anything? There’s just nothing interesting about this guy.

I feel like I haven’t even had a chance to get to know Meka Jones because she’s usually alone trying to deal with her sad circumstances. Even the few moments we saw her dealing with the other couples, I could see she was in her head the whole time.
