Sister Wives: Kody Brown Talked Meri Brown Into A Logical Decision

Kody had more bold statements to make on a recent episode of Sister Wives. Once again, he made statements against his first wife, Meri Brown. Kody Brown was filming from his cell phone after the production crews left because of the pandemic.

In one scene where he’s driving alone, it’s March 23 as Kody Brown documented and tells the camera, “Meri called me and said she had an emergency she, well, I guess it’s an emergency.” “She’s gotta talk to me about something going on and wanted me to come over and talk to her. So, I’m on my way to Meri’s house right now.” Meri Brown was on the confessional couch explaining how stressed she is about Mariah and Audrey being in Chicago.

Since the episode was filmed during the height of the pandemic, there were many unknowns about the virus and how it was spread. Upon hearing the news that Chicago would be one of the next hardest hit cities, Meri Brown panicked along with Mariah and Audrey.

Kody Brown explained during his confessional that the family was divided on how to handle the spread of the virus. He said some family members wanted to quarantine and play it safe, while others suggested “spreading it” around the family to “check and see if we’re immune.”

When asked by a producer if he would reveal who said that last thing, Kody Brown wouldn’t answer, saying, “No, because that would be too much finger-pointing.” Kody Brown arrived at Meri’s to find out that her “emergency” was that she wanted to fly to Chicago to bring Mariah and Audrey back to Arizona.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Talked Meri Brown Into A Logical Decision

Kody Brown and Meri Brown called Mariah and Audrey together and the four of them discussed the move. Kody Brown made the logical suggestion that the girls leave their furniture in Chicago and replace it. It would have cost less than a round trip flight to Chicago and also avoided more possible exposure to the virus.

Meri Brown was determined to fly to Chicago to help her girls, but Kody Brown assured her that the two women were fully capable of moving and traveling without their help.

Kody eventually talked some sense into the group and they decided it was too risky. Viewers saw later in the episode that Mariah and Audrey landed safely at Meri Brown’s, went into quarantine for two weeks, and all ended well.
