Meri Brown has been sharing a lot of content on social media lately. On Tuesday, the Sister Wives star posted another photo on her Instagram account. In the photo with Meri was her mother, Bonnie Ahlstrom. The two are seen standing with their arms around each other in front of Lizzie’s Heritage Inn located in Parowan, UT.

Sister Wives Meri Brown took to Instagram to give a heartfelt salute to her mother. While it was Meri’s mom’s birthday, coincidentally it fell on International Women’s Day. Also, March is Women’s History Month. Meri writes, “How appropriate that during Women’s History Month and celebrating amazing and strong women, we get to celebrate the existence of this amazing person too!”

However, this is not how Meri begins her beautiful post in honor of her mother. She writes, “On days like today, I’m grateful my sweet mom doesn’t do social media, because I’m pretty sure she’d shoot me for it!” With great humor, Meri goes on to write, “So shhh, our secret!

Meri’s mom was a plural wife like Meri until the death of Meri Brown’s father in 2007.

Meri grew up with a total of 25 siblings between the five moms she shared. Bonnie Ahlstrom lives at Lizzie’s Heritage Inn and is the designated innkeeper on their Instagram page.Meri’s bed and breakfast has been a dream of hers for a long time, and was featured on an episode of the show. The house has been in her family for generations and has sentimental value to her.

Not everyone in the family was as optimistic as she was about Meri opening a bed and breakfast. Kody’s response about Meri’s business was, “The bed and breakfast, yeah…it’s not a big money maker.” However, Meri may have proven Kody wrong, given the inn’s success to date.
