Viewers aren’t buying it.
Christine Brown and David Woolley sat next to each other on Sister Wives: One-on-One. Meanwhile, Kody and Robyn Brown were not shown together. Fans think this was on purpose.
“Why weren’t Kody and Robyn on the couch together? It would’ve exposed the whole dynamic,” one Reddit user questioned.
“She cuts him off constantly. TLC knew it would be chaos.”
Another added:
“It’s way more interesting watching Kody go off the rails without Robyn playing interference.”
And they’re not wrong. Robyn’s absence from Kody’s interview allowed for his usual unfiltered spirals-rambling, blaming, and melting down. But many believe TLC strategically kept her out to let Kody show his true colors.
“His worst moments? Always when Robyn isn’t there to coach him,” one viewer said.

Sitting down with host Sukanya Krishnan, Meri Brown confirmed what fans suspected for years: her once-close bond with Robyn is over.
“I don’t feel icy. I just don’t feel like the relationship is there,” she said bluntly.
“It’s unfortunate.”
And Robyn’s reaction? A classic blend of self-pity and blame-shifting.
