Max Kallschmidt of Welcome To Plathville fame has been put under the microscope after fans began to believe that the Georgia native may have cheated on Moriah Plath.
Max Kallschmidt confirmed his breakup with the singer earlier this month. Fans weren’t surprised to hear about their failed relationship, as there had been rumors of their breakup for months.
Over the past two seasons of Welcome to Plathville, Moriah Plath and Max Kallschmidt have had a serious relationship that led Max to give her a promise ring. In the last season, Max even talked about marrying Moriah. Unfortunately, there will be no wedding in their future because the couple officially broke up and separated.

Although fans had guessed months ago that the couple had separated, neither Max Kallschmidt nor Moriah Plath gave an official statement or reason for the breakdown of their relationship. Fans of Welcome to Plathville first heard about the breakup in a tearful YouTube video shared by Max. Alas, this video included some incriminating lines used by Max that led fans to believe that there was some infidelity within the relationship. Max shared that “something wasn’t right” in their relationship in the video.
Max used the term “personal boundaries” when discussing a night out with a friend in which he was supposed to be a wingman. While Max claims he didn’t sleep with anyone, he did admit that his personal boundaries with Moriah were crossed.
The TLC character didn’t go into details, but fans assume there was heavy flirting and possibly a kiss from the way Max described the night. According to Max, the event took place in October 2021, and Moriah ended their relationship as soon as he called her.
Fans were shocked that the Welcome To Plathville star tried to potentially turn himself into a victim after possibly cheating on Moriah. Followers deduced that this was Max’s way of feeling better and securing his side of the story for the audience, as he refused to film season four. Although Max was able to share his story, viewers are still waiting for Moriah to open up about the situation.
