Erika Owens enjoys life in Australia with boyfriend Chris and their cute dog, but a few years ago she considered living in the United States. Nowadays, however, the 90 Day Fiance alumna has no desire to live there, although she is not averse to a visit from time to time.

Erika Owens might have sung a very different song if her romance with Stephanie Matto had not foundered during their participation in the show. The Australian met Stephanie online after seeing her smutty content on YouTube; however, when she arrived in Australia, Stephanie was far from her online persona.

Erika Owens was surprised by her personality change, and the two women clashed several times and eventually broke up before the end of the season. Since then, both have moved on.

Erika is now happy with her boyfriend and they just celebrated two years together. However, this is not the only reason why she is never seen living in America.

The former TLC star explained the reasons why she no longer wants to live in America during a Q&A on Instagram, pointing out that there is too much going on in the country. “If you asked me a few years back I’d say yes,” Erika admitted when asked if she would move to the United States if the opportunity arose.

However, Bo and Chris are not the only reasons why Erika plans to stay in Australia. The actress pointed out that health care is another factor that weighed on her decision to stay in her home country.
