Christine Brown isn’t sugarcoating her feelings about her ex-husband Kody Brown. During a revealing interview on Radio Andy, she described him as a “deadbeat dad.” The comment didn’t surprise many Sister Wives fans who’ve followed the unraveling of Kody’s relationships, but hearing it so directly made waves.
When host Andy Cohen asked Christine to sum up Kody in three words, her frustration was evident. “Deadbeat dad … Sorry, that’s two, but that can be two,” she said, making no effort to soften her words. She also added, “Oblivious.”

Sister Wives: The Kids Grow Closer, Even Without Kody
Despite Kody Brown’s absence, Christine and Janelle Brown said the Brown kids have grown closer. “They get closer and closer, I think, as the years go by,” Janelle said. “And I’m really grateful for that. Our children have really managed to maintain close bonds even though they do live across the country from each other.”
