Does Tom Pearson Get Fired On 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht'?

Will Tom Pearson be fired on Below Deck Sailing Yacht? That’s the question viewers are asking after the last episode ended with the cliffhanger of Captain Glenn Shephard feeling the sailor can’t be trusted. It was a difficult episode that began with the storm that caused the Parsifal III’s anchor to drag. Captain Glenn has already admitted that Tom was a “huge disappointment” in the situation because he was guarding the anchor at the time.

Things got worse for Pearson when he had to witness yet another attempt by Ashley Marti to pick up Gary King. Tom proceeded to throw a drink at Ashley and curse her out. The next day, Tom wet the electronics and was reprimanded by Captain Glenn.

The episode made not only Captain Glenn but Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans wonder if the sailor’s days were numbered.

Does Tom Pearson Get Fired On ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’?

In a recent episode of the Instagram series Pita Party, presented by Daisy Kelliher, Alli Dore and Dani Soares, Tom Pearson revealed that the anchor towing incident changed everything for him.

Captain Glenn can take a lot, but there is no doubt that Pearson has pushed him to his limit. The captain doesn’t feel like he can trust Tom Pearson, which means his time on the show won’t last much longer.

Even if Tom somehow makes it through the next charter, his every move will be watched. Tom already has problems with the people who control his work, so this will only lead to more problems for the sailor.

The odds are certainly stacked against Tom staying on the sailboat. Maybe Tom will make like Parker McCown and resign before being fired. Either way, fans of the sailboat below deck shouldn’t expect him to last the rest of the season.
