Below Deck star Daisy Kelliher revealed that she has been “struggled” with her stews. Since the third season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht debuted a few weeks ago, Gabriela Barragan and Ashley Marti have clashed. Gabriela Barragan knows her job better than Ashley Marti, who is inexperienced. Yet, she feels she should be promoted to second stew.

Ashley Marti doesn’t like getting advice from Gabriela Barragan. She feels that she knows her job and knows it well. However, Gabriela can see that Ashley is struggling. Daisy Kelliher has noticed the power struggle between them. She admitted that she has never had such a problem in her sailing career.

Daisy made an appearance on the So Dramatic podcast. She shared that Below Deck Sailing Yacht newbies were “obsessed with their title.” Ashley Marti didn’t see herself as a third stove. They often fought over rank. It became so bad that it was all they thought about.

Daisy Kelliher admitted that she “struggled” with her job because of this. Although she has dealt with difficult stoves in the past, she has never had this problem in her life. Most problems were child’s play compared to this one. Daisy couldn’t help them see past their roles.

She enjoyed working with each of them for different reasons. However, they made things difficult for her work. Daisy would have liked them to see “the bigger picture and concentrate on their jobs” rather than the grade. This is an issue she never had to deal with as a stovepipe leader. She would have preferred that they focus on their work.
