Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 5 premiered this month, but one of the cast members, in particular, ended filming early. Ronnie Ortiz-Magro appeared in the premiere episode as he was nervously waiting for his girlfriend Saffire Matos to get married. While he was nervous about his impending engagement, news broke that he had been arrested for an alleged domestic dispute.
After the incident, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro decided it was best to take some time away from filming to focus on his mental health.
The actors supported his decision and wished him well. With Ronnie’s departure, longtime Jersey Shore fans wondered if it would open the door for the return of his ex-girlfriend and fan favorite Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola.
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi recently spoke about whether Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola could return to the show and whether she thinks it will actually happen.
Unfortunately for fans, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi didn’t seem too optimistic that Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola would be returning to Jersey Shore Family Vacation anytime soon. During an interview on the Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino podcast, Nicole shared her thoughts on Sammi.
She said that the cast has tried several times to convince Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola to return to the show. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi even asked him to come to “just a girls’ dinner” to “catch up”.
However, she said her invitation was turned down. Nicole shared that Sammi “wants nothing to do with the show”. Since filming Jersey Shore, Sammi has done well and has a successful business called Sweetheart Coast. The store is located on the New Jersey waterfront and is a boutique that offers women’s fashion items.

Despite her willingness to bribe her fiancé Christian Biscard last year, the couple decided to separate in the summer of 2021. A month later, Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola revealed her new man in an Instagram post over Thanksgiving.
Many fans thought that Sammi clearly has the type, as they think her new boyfriend Justin May resembles both Ronni and Christian.
Sammi seems to be really happy in his life and probably doesn’t want to spoil anything by returning to the show.
