Jersey Shore: Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino Called Someone An ‘idiot’ For Thinking He Cheated On Lauren Sorrentino

When it comes to the best couple, the one from Jersey Shore could be Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his wife, Lauren Sorrentino. In the early days of the show Sorrentino was single and ready to socialize.

While many fans know that Mike Sorrentino had an affair with Lauren before Jersey Shore, what some fans misunderstand is where their relationship was while the show was shooting. Sorrentino went on Instagram to clarify whether or not he cheated on Lauren during Jersey Shore.

Lauren explained how, even though Mike Sorrentino used to travel around New Jersey and still lived there, she never met him during their period of separation. “I had friends, relatives and people who met him all the time,” she told Us Weekly. “In five or six years, no matter how long that break was, I never met him.” She said that their meeting again “was kind of like fate”.

When Jersey Shore ended in December 2012, Mike Sorrentino was a single man. Then, in the spring of 2013, Mike Sorrentino life changed forever.

“I was at a kickboxing gym,” Lauren explained. “He knew I was going there because I kept seeing his family. He knew what class I was in every night and then he showed up. We were in sync and that was it.”

No matter how long they’d been separated, the relationship between Sorrentino and Lauren evolved rapidly. “Even though we were on such a long break – like, years – once we reconnected, once we got closer, it was at full swing,” Lauren added.

Another fan replied on Sorrentino’s Instagram post, writing: “And did you continue to betray her in the following seasons? Boo!”

Sorrentino replied directly to this person. “You’re an idiot!” he wrote, adding: “If you read the caption above, it says that we interrupted the first season of Jersey Shore and reunited [when] it ended after the sixth season. So when Jersey Shore: family vacation started, we got back together. SMFH”.

As Pesce explained to Us Weekly, the two of them were on break while filming the show. Therefore, there was no harm to Sorrentino as far as appointments or relationships with Jersey Shore were concerned.

While many fans seem to think that Sorrentino was cheating on Pesce during the early seasons of the MTV show, this is not the case. Today the couple is happily married, and this has inspired many fans.
