While on a road trip with Janelle Brown, Christine opened up about the emotional trauma she’s still processing.
“I do have a lot of dreams and nightmares, all kinds of ones where we’re living together in the same house again,” she confessed.
She added:
“I wake up in a panic sometimes. I’m like, ‘Where’s David? Why am I married to Kody again? I don’t know how this is happening.’”
Christine explained that these “upsetting dreams” started after she left Kody, and she’s ready to leave the past behind for good.
“Sometimes I still dream that I’m with him,” she admitted. “It’s hard. I don’t want to relive the past. People are like, ‘Would you do it all over again?’ I’m like, ‘Not going to answer that question because I just move on. I’m just moving on.’”

To symbolize leaving her old life behind, Christine and Janelle visited a famous Arizona desert landmark – Plotz Plot. It’s a site where travelers leave an item from their past before moving on.
Christine chose a dream catcher from her time in Flagstaff.
“It’s two-part,” she explained. “One is to leave Flagstaff behind because I still have trauma over Flagstaff. I admit it. Then it’s about these dreams because we really had great dreams about polygamy. But it’s time for new dreams, and I like my new dreams now better.”
