Sister Wives fans have criticized Meri Brown for being “indecisive” and “selfish”. Their patience for the reality star is rapidly running out. Kody Brown has even admitted that he’s getting sick of Meri, and now fans feel the same way. There’s no denying that Meri has become the outcast of the family. But has she become the new reality show villain?
Meri Brown revealed in the past that she loves living on land that has trees. Kody even offered her a piece of land that’s lined with trees. Then to everyone’s shock, she complained that her last home didn’t have enough sunlight. Sister Wives are now calling on her to make up her mind.
‘Sister Wives’ fans are getting fed up with Meri
When Kody Brown assigned construction lots for each of his four wives, everyone was on board except Meri. Kody knew she loved being surrounded by trees. Meri revealed her desire for a tree-lined property when they looked at the houses in Cottonwood Land. So, Kody offered her a plot of land with the most trees in Coyote Pass.
Then Meri started messing around with Sister Wives fans, like on The Hollywood Gossip. She revealed she no longer wanted to be surrounded by trees. Meri complained that her last rented house wasn’t getting enough sunlight. So, Kody reassigned the land to Robyn Brown. Meri found herself on land that had no trees.
It wasn’t Meri’s indecision that drove the viewers crazy. Meri seemed divided on the idea. She neither accepted nor denied the package because she couldn’t make up her mind on the spot. That caused Kody to blow up on her, which also caused the backlash from the Sisters Wives fans. But Meri got most of the heat. Here are some of the comments the fans wrote:
Now Meri doesn’t know where she wants to live. She’s not even sure she can live without trees in her life. But she’s not even sure she wants to give up her land. Meri says she won’t build the house so close to the trees. She might accept the package and go ahead and get a house with more sunlight, but she’s not sure.
The whole Sister Wives family seems tired at this point. And the fans feel the same way. Some of them think you’re causing friction between your partners’ wives.

I have watched the show from the very beginning from the first interview and I think Christine is nothing but in love with Cody and definitely does not want the sister wife life I think it’s just a bunch of Mistresses I used to believe what Cody said I think he treats Mary horribly and I don’t know why she stays I just think it’s a bunch of grown-ups playing house. I really like watching the Show . Because it was different . Now from what I see the Man ( Kody ) is a closet bully and the last few weeks has shown he has no loyalty to any of the Wife’s . I see that Meri is really not checked in with the family . Robin wants a fairytale life . Janelle lives basically single . Christen is a BULLY has her nose in all the drama but onces it hits the fan as they say she sits there meekly like she’s has no idea why their such chaos but pay attention she got 1st pick of the lots on the land . I can’t see how Meri could be considered selfish. She gave up her status as Kody’s legal wife when she agreed to divorce Kody as that Kody could marry Robyn and adopt her children. Do you think that any of the other sister wives would have done. I don’t. Give Meri credit for her ultimate sacrifice and leave her alone.

The other wives and cody give Meri a raw deal. They started treating her bad about the time her daughter left home for college. She tried to do the right thing and give him a divorce so he could legally marry robyn and adopted her children. What more do they want from her. Christine is the jealous trouble making b….. on the show as far as Im concerned.
I hope people aren’t blaming Mary for this situation. Cody is not the good guy that we thought he was in the beginning. Mary did a great thing having him divorce her so he could adopt robins kids. All those women should pack up and leave and get their own homes without him.

The problem here is that the wives all had a taste of living separately in Las Vegas and now they don’t want to go back to one household. Leaving Las Vegas was a hasty, poorly-planned decision and we are seeing the result. Kody Brown seems like he is just a step away from leaving this whole situation. HE’S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU!

I have watched the show from the beginning. I have to ask myself is this the same Cody Brown as the one who started this show? He has become rude to almost everyone. My belief is that if Cody had dealt with the problems in his marriage with Meri when they first started, non of the problems after that time wouldn’t have happened like they did. The time Meri and Cody had a picnic in the hills to talk about Robin’s offer to carry a baby for Meri, Cody was not supportive of that….I can’t remember his exact words but the gist was he didn’t feel compelled to have another baby with Meri. I could only have one child like Meri, I wanted to slap Cody’s face all the way down to the car….he was a butt! I like all the wives, however my feelings about Cody have drastically changed. What charm he did have is gone….I have even contemplated not watching the show because his behavior is such that I feel sorry for the women. He is not being the respectful husband that a Bible believing man should be. If your marriage(s) are not
in a good state, you shouldn’t take on a new one. I like Robyn but it is not fair to the others for him to not take of his relationships with them. Cody should work out the housing issues in a group not by talking to each one individually. The wives said this is how they usually take care of this type of decision, when Cody tries to manipulate things his way it is not good. Cody also needs to listen…Meri said she didn’t like all the shade from the trees surrounding the house directly, not that she didn’t want to live by trees. I have trees directly around my house and contant shade can be depressing, but I wouldn’t want to live with no trees, and if agreements can’t be reached about the lots, draw for the lots. Cody is selfish….he wants what he wants and he wants it now…he is not a single man, he has chosen this life and should feel like his brides are the most important things in his life according to the Bible. I like the idea of one house, however I am not in a plural marriage. I think the way it is planned every wife could be the queen of their wing, just like in individual homes. If the wives don’t like seeing their husband with another wife walking out the door to leave….perhaps they aren’t strong enough in their own relationship with Cody. Cody needs to get himself in order and lead his family. He used to do that, but I think fame has changed him, something has. As with any family, if you don’t take care of issues when they happen those issues can fester and grow….if Cody had taken care of his issues with Meri, she wouldn’t have been lonely and looking for a friend. Hang in there Meri! And Cody get yourself back in God’s favor and rely on him more and yourself less.
