Janelle Brown has officially left Flagstaff, Arizona, behind for a fresh start in North Carolina. The Sister Wives star has faced years of heartbreak and turmoil. She recently revealed her plans to build a peaceful, purposeful life near her daughter Maddie Brown Brush.
Janelle Brown shared an Instagram video of her new 156-acre property in Chocowinity, North Carolina. It showed fans the wild, untouched land. She plans to build a home and start her business, Taeda Farms, there. Accompanied by the classic tune “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” Janelle’s video captured the raw beauty of her new surroundings.
“Finally putting down some permanent roots. Doesn’t look like much yet but it will. I like the wild feel that it has now, and we are planning for many acres to stay that way for the benefit of the wildlife,” she captioned the post.
Sister Wives: A Fresh Start After Heartache
Janelle Brown found it hard to leave Arizona. She was most attached to the Brown family’s plans to develop their Coyote Pass property. She even spent time living on the land in an RV while dreaming of what could be.
However, Coyote Pass never materialized into the shared homestead she had hoped for. With her split from Kody Brown and her son’s death, Flagstaff is now a place of painful memories.
Janelle’s move to North Carolina symbolizes a new beginning, one that allows her to focus on her family and entrepreneurial goals. Her daughter Maddie, who is expecting her fourth child, lives just a short drive away, making the location even more ideal.
