Sister Wives: Paedon Brown Admits to Physically Hurting Sister Gwendlyn Brown, Reveals Strained Family Bonds

In an emotional TikTok Live, Sister Wives star Paedon Brown admitted to hurting his sister, Gwendlyn Brown, years ago.

“Many years ago, I messed up. I hit Gwen,” Paedon admitted to his followers, describing the incident where he slapped his sister during an argument. He expressed deep regret, acknowledging the impact it still has on their relationship. “She thinks that I might do it again, and she’s scared of me, which is OK,” he said.

Paedon further shared that his mother, Christine Brown, is supporting Gwen in her healing process. “Mom is trying to help her,” he explained. While Paedon is certain he would never hurt his sister again, he understands why Gwen feels unsafe around him. “It is very important that my sister [feels] safe around me,” he added, pledging to wait until Gwen is ready to rebuild their bond.

Sister Wives: Gwendlyn Brown Calls Out Kody for “Abusive” Parenting

Paedon Brown’s confession showed a sibling conflict. Gwendlyn Brown accused their father, Kody Brown, of abusive parenting.

In a candid Patreon post, Gwendlyn described Kody’s disciplinary tactics as excessive. “I remember personally being bruised a few times when my dad would spank me,” she revealed, adding, “Spanking is abuse. It is an excessive way to discipline your children, and there are better ways to do that won’t leave them emotionally scarred.”

These statements echo criticism from Kody’s ex-wives, including Janelle Brown. She has spoken about his favoritism toward Robyn Brown’s children. “My children, like, were scolded if they would open up Robyn’s fridge,” Janelle shared in a past episode, calling his behavior “poor parenting.”

Sister Wives: Meri Brown Faces Renewed Allegations of Abuse

Paedon Brown also reignited allegations against Meri Brown, accusing her of being abusive toward some of the Brown children.

“Abrasive and kind of mean are not strong enough words,” Paedon said during an interview with John Yates, adding, “Meri was not nice … Abrasive is not enough of a word to explain what Meri was to a few of us children specifically.”

This isn’t the first time Meri has faced such accusations. In 2019, Janelle’s daughter Maddie Brown Brush called Meri a “monster” in a now-deleted tweet. Maddie claimed, “There is nothing like dealing with an abusive human your whole life and finally having the freedom to not have anything to do with her.”

Sister Wives: Family Bonds in Crisis

These revelations underscore the strained dynamics within the Brown family. While Christine Brown has worked to support Gwen, the lingering wounds of the past have taken a toll on relationships.

Paedon’s admission shows his wish for accountability and change. But, it reveals the family’s complex, painful dynamics. Fans have mixed reactions. Some praise Paedon’s honesty. Others doubt the Brown family’s troubled past can be repaired.
