The open and unconventional couple have been married for almost 25 years. In that time, they have had nine children and raised them to strict expectations. Their marriage and the life they built together were presented as simple and idyllic. They certainly could not have foreseen how far it would eventually fall.

Barry Plath and Kim Plath don’t have the best reputation for their parenting practices, and their strained relationship with their children is testament to this. The devastating split with their eldest son Ethan Plath has certainly played its part. Viewers don’t know much about Barry Plath and Kim Plath other than who they are as parents, but the upcoming season 4 of Welcome to Plathville could change all that.

In the newly released ‘Welcome to Plathville’ season 4 trailer, it is revealed that Barry Plath and Kim Plath are struggling in their marriage. Kim’s main focus has been being a wife and mother and now she wants to find her identity outside of that.
